A user named @Emmy noted that the two were being “good sports” about the joke as many seemed to assume they were faking their laughter out of politeness.

Another viewer named @Sabrina shared her opinion, suggesting that Kate Middleton was actually being genuine in her comment accompanied by a laughing face emoji:
